The Atlassian team gathers: “Talent wins games, but teamwork & intelligence wins championships”

We’ve just wrapped up another fantastic pop-up office, this time in beautiful Karlstad. Colleagues from Stockholm, Växjö, Gothenburg, Malmö, Karlstad, Harstad, and Oslo gathered at our Karlstad office for a few productive and truly fun days.

Happiness in teamwork

Productivity flowed, teams worked side by side, ideas were shared, and problems were solved efficiently. It’s an incredible feeling to discuss Atlassian solutions directly with colleagues from different cities and customer teams.

Our shared lunches were highlights, offering a chance to network and strengthen bonds. In the evenings, we enjoyed a variety of fun activities. One team took on a round of golf at Hammarö, full of both challenges and laughter. Others visited the Lars Lerin museum and were inspired by his art.

The true highlight, however, was the evening cruise through the archipelago outside Karlstad. The atmosphere was incredible in the sunshine, with a troubadour playing as we mingled in the stunning early summer nature.

During our walk to the boat, we took the opportunity to discuss dilemmas and challenges we’ve encountered in our work. It was an open and honest moment, offering everyone new insights and perspectives. These are the moments that truly build strong teams.

1. No set agenda during the day – Let creativity flow freely.
2. Good food and plenty of coffee breaks – Create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
3. Plan fun and engaging activities – Create memories together through shared experiences.
