Recap 2022 – what did we do?

Retrospectives gives energy, inspiration, and new ideas

New year, a wonderful time when, by giving space for retrospect, you find energy, inspiration, and new ideas for an exciting new year. 2022 was different in many ways, global events happened that created anxiety, then it´s nice to be in a place where we lift each other and celebrate each other’s successes. We are happy to share how the past year looked at Stretch Addera.

The year started from our home offices for most of us and the team grew with several new colleagues that we got to know and onboarded remotely, using great tools like Slack and Confluence. As soon as we got the opportunity to start meeting and traveling, we of course booked a pop-up office and also had both a conference and several events to look forward to during the year.

Pop-up office and Stretch conference

Pop-up office at Orust – Finally we got to meet again and focus further on customer success, happiness in teamwork and our journey forward!

After our pop-up office, several teams also met at Micro-pops. Micro-pops are for networking, collaboration and meeting colleagues from other Stretch hubs/offices. Often you have a common customer, workshop or joint activity with colleagues at the other hub.

Stretch conference – fantastic days with the entire Stretch group at Loka Brunn, followed by a trip that took us 80 meters underground in the adventure mine in Tuna Hästberg and finally the conference ended in our own camp village at the top of the mine with a closing concert and party. We at Stretch Addera put on our old student caps for another party night and arrived at this year’s theme party together singing on a truck as graduates!

Visit to Atlassian in Amsterdam

During the year, we have had the opportunity to visit Atlassian in Amsterdam several times.

We exchanged experiences about the Nordic market, offers within Atlassian Cloud and ITSM/ESM, how together as ONE team we can contribute to our customers’ results.

Personal meetings provide energy, our meetings with Atlassian have been filled with new ideas and new opportunities to simplify for our customers in 2023.

ITSMf conference in Oslo

The ITSMf conference Oslo offered many rewarding meetings with some of the best in the ITSM field. The visitors to our booth tested their luck by spinning the wheel of fortune and won prizes, but also got to take part in the latest ITSM Gartner report, where Jira Service Management was named a leader in magic quadrat for ITSM. The visitors were happy to share their thoughts on “Happiness in service management”, where good flow was a winning concept.

Happiness in Teamwork – Oslo

Psychological safety – not something that only applies to working hours.

In the darkness of October, we opened our Oslo office and were visited by around 60 guests at an event with the theme “Happiness in Teamwork”. One of our Stretch customers shared how safety in the workplace leads to joy, new acquaintances and creates room for innovation. Another popular talk was given by the Red Cross, “Nettverk etter soning”. They talked about their important work in including those who have served sentences in society and how the security of someone believing in you is very important.

One of our core values at Stretch is consideration, and if there’s one thing we took away from the evening, it was to show consideration for others, whether it’s a colleague or a stranger you meet.

Atlassian’s High Velocity ITSM – London

In December, we received an early Christmas gift when a Stretch team together with some of our customers visited London for one of the best events of the year – High Velocity ITSM. The event was a kick-start for our mission to eliminate “Bad Service Management” and focus on “Happiness in Service Management”, to be continued during 2023… Also follow us on LinkedIn to stay up to date on the latest.

New colleagues and Cloud focus

During the year, we also got 16 new fantastic colleagues, in over 6 different locations in two different countries! Welcome to our new stars Alexander, Henrik, Line, Christoffer, Rasmus, Gustav, Clara, Philip, Anton, Chanon, Katarina, Matias, Thomas, Linda, Jonas and Love. Our team has also achieved a lot of new certifications with a focus on Cloud, ITIL and SAFe. Stretch Addera is Scandinavia’s 100% focused Atlassian platinum partner with the most certified consultants based in our offices in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. That´s really cool!

Many thanks to all our fantastic customers

The customer’s success is our success, we are privileged to work with some of the world’s best companies!

During the year, we have moved large complex Data Center instances up to Atlassian’s Enterprise Cloud, moved server instances to the Atlassian Cloud or Data Center based on the customer’s unique needs. We have implemented B2B, ESM and ITSM solutions with smart automation and asset management. Through Stretch service agreements, we have contributed to simplified self-service, automation, new areas of use and increased collaboration between teams in different parts of the customer’s organization. The creativity that our customers’ teams show every day constantly gives us new energy. During 2023, we can see an increased demand for Jira Service Management solutions, more people having the opportunity to lift their instance to the Cloud and new teams discovering how smooth it is to collaborate in Jira and Confluence.

Stretch Addera’s main focus areas in 2023 will be Atlassian Cloud, Jira Service Management and smart scalable collaboration solutions in the Atlassian platform.

Do you have a New Year’s resolution to give yourself more joy in 2023? Take the chance to become part of our strong growing team!
